We want to immerse our audience in the diversity and richness of contemporary Scandinavian cinema. We focus on films that have been successful at festivals or that have been well received by local audiences and film critics. We select films which are diverse in genre and provoke discussion about different topics.
Organisers
We look at Scandinavian film critically, independently and professionally. The festival is organized by the experienced team of the film distribution company Film Europe, from the selection of films to the discussions with the guests. SCANDI was founded in 2014 by Ivan Hronec with the aim of bringing Nordic culture closer to Czech and Slovak audiences.
